Introduction and profile

I currently hold the position of Support Technician Engineer within the Pressure, Furnaces and Special Systems Section of the sample environment group at ISIS. I have over 28 years of experience as an engineer and have been working at ISIS since 2005. My current responsibilities include User support, Manufacturing support and Design and development of new sample environment systems some of which are bespoke and experiment specific.

Prior to working at ISIS I spent 9 years as a Mechanical Instruments Technician Ultra Low Temperature (ULT) department, initially Technician, promoted to Senior Technician, and ultimately Principle Technician.

Before that I trained as an apprentice and then subsequently worked for Crawford Collects.
