Watch this space for opportunities to get work experience with us, be one of our sandwich students, join our graduate scheme, or be a permanent member of our team.
We are looking for several software developers / software engineers to join our team. Although we do expect everyone to "muck in" when needed, we also realise that few can be an expert at everything. We are looking for a mix of developers. Are you a software developer that can't get enough of writing great (primarily Java) backend libraries and web services? Or are you a web frontend developer that desperately wants to make our software a sheer delight to use? If you answered yes to either of those questions then we could be perfect for each other. We currently have vacancies for a Junior Software Developer and Software Engineer/Senior Software Engineer.
We are looking for graduates to start summer 2017.How to Apply:
There will be the opportunity for graduates to rotate throughout the division and across STFC to work on a variety of placements during the scheme. The Computing stream of the STFC graduate scheme is accredited by the BCS. For general information about the wider graduate scheme please see:STFC Graduate Recruitment Scheme
If we don't have a position that is right for you just yet we'd still like to hear from you.
Our popular sandwich placement scheme is now closed but it is about to open again soon! We will be looking for the very best students to join us in summer 2017 for a year.

Want to know a bit more? Matt, our 2013/14 student, wrote a short report on his time with us to help you find out what it is really like. (P.S. Matt returned as a Graduate Software Engineer and has recently taken on a full Software Engineer position!)
