Furnaces can reach different temperatures, depending on the heating element you use:
• Vanadium heating element 200-1100°C• Niobium heating element 1100-2000°C (but presents Bragg peaks)• Tantalum is a possibility in principle but has got resonances
But the maximum temperature you can reach depends also on the melting point of your sample cell/o-ring: typically you may use quartz glass in vanadium pocket or just a vanadium cell.
