If you are writing a paper incorporating SANS2D data, you might like to include the following text and references in your experimental section:

Small-Angle Neutron Scattering.  SANS was carried out on the Sans2d small-angle diffractometer at the ISIS Pulsed Neutron Source (STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Didcot, U.K.).[1,2]  A simultaneous Q-range of ab Å-1 was achieved utilizing an incident wavelength range of cd Å and employing an instrument set up of L1 = L2 = x m, with the rear 1 m2 detector offset vertically 75 mm and sideways y mm.  Samples were prepared in deuterated solvents, providing the necessary contrast (omit if not the case) and were contained in t mm path length Hellma quartz cells.  The beam diameter was d mm.  Each raw scattering data set was corrected for the detector efficiencies, sample transmission and background scattering and converted to scattering cross-section data (∂Σ/∂Ω vs. Q) using the instrument-specific software.[3]  These data were placed on an absolute scale (cm-1) using the scattering from a standard sample (a solid blend of hydrogenous and perdeuterated polystyrene) in accordance with established procedures.[4]
