The ISIS Neutron Source is one of the UK's world-leading scientific research centres. It is at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire, and is run by the Science and Technology Facilities Council.
Neutrons are very tiny particles (smaller than an atom) that are found in the nucleus of atoms.
To make a neutron beam, you need to first have some particles travelling REALLY fast.
If you could invent a perfect particle to find out where atoms are and what they are doing, what would it be like?
