Magnetic excitations in a low-dimensional magnet
14th July will see the Excitations User Group Meeting held at RAL. In keeping with previous meetings it will include reports from ISIS and the group’s instruments, and additionally this year, focused workshops.
The workshops will address the development of software for the analysis of inelastic neutron scattering data.
It is clear that to be able to extract the most from the new instrumentation and sample environment equipment will require sophisticated software and it is timely that we survey what is going on and seek advice on priorities from the community.
There is a great deal of work being done on this in the community and there are also several software development projects currently at ISIS.
