materials engineering
Discussion of materials engineering instrumentation at current and future neutron sources.
The aim of the symposium is to assess the current status of materials engineering research using neutrons, and consult on the potential of facilities at ESS and ISIS second target station for research into materials engineering, materials science and related fields such as cultural heritage.
The symposium will bring together the user community of industrial and academic engineers, material scientists and cultural heritage experts as well as instrument scientists from existing material engineering instruments.

Conference dinner: To be held in Feldon Valley, Nr Banbury on Friday 9th December 2011 (invitation only, since there is limited space). Transport to and from the venue will be provided. Deparature from RAL reception will be at 18:00 on Friday 9th December.
