Eurotherm Systems

These systems are built around the Eurotherm temperature controller. There are many varients which may be one, two or three channel and may be tailored for capillary heating, linear control, over temperature control and other similar functions.

Triple Eurotherm Temperature Controller

The Triple Eurotherm is a 19” rack mounted controller, which is designed to be controlled remotely from an Instrument PC.  The constant current, 4 wire measurement, combined with a high controller resolution, allows this unit to produce accurate temperature measurement, even at ultra low temperatures.  The precision temperature control is achieved using a combination of phase angle control and Solid State Relays.  Loads of up to 3kW at mains voltage or a 200W at low voltage may be used to run heaters.

Capillary Heater Controller

This portable unit has a Capillary Heater control output and an Auxiliary heater output.  The left hand controller can be used to set the desired control temperature.  The auxiliary heater output on the right of the unit can be used to give a constant voltage output.

Mini Eurotherm Dual Temperature Controller

This unit is designed for portable applications, where a rack-mounted Triple Eurotherm Temperature Controller can not easily be used.  It is particularly useful for controlling external pieces of equipment and for offline experiments.

Mains Controller

This unit is designed for portable use. It is generally used in combination with a tube furnace and can control the temperature of the furnace from a thermocouple sensor input.

Over Temperature Box

This is a 2 channel power cut-out device designed for portable use.  The unit will cut its 240V mains output and control a signal sent through the box, if the temperature set point is exceeded.  The desired cut-out temperature is set on the controller front panel.

Pt100 / Type K Logger

This device is designed to monitor a temperature and log it in a computer file via RS232.  It can accept either a Pt100 or a Type K thermocouple.  The input sensor type must be set in the Eurotherm configuration.
