Huber Stack

A small Huber stack was bought as part of the ISIS-TU Berlin collaboration to allow samples to be accurately positioned and rotated. Translation (both x and y direction), two height stages, 2-circle segment and circle goniometer can be used together.

JJ X-ray neutron slits can be mounted before the Huber stack to allow the beam size to be varied – particularly useful for Grazing Incidence SANS (GISANS) measurements. System has been used for both GISANS measurements and also understanding colloidal flow via studying the crystallography of 0.14 micron ‘atom
