The Agilent Gemini Single Crystal Diffractometer is available for sample screening, structure analysis as well as other crystallographic experiments.
The Gemini Diffractometer incorporates two independent high voltage and water cooled X-ray generators (Cu & Mo).
At the heart of the instrument is Agilent’s 4-circle kappa goniometer which provides extremely high angular resolution Mo and Cu data, meeting and significantly exceeding the publication requirements of the IUCr journals.
The goniometer incorporates a rotatable beam stop and a 120x magnification video microscope which is linked to a dedicated LCD monitor within the system enclosure.
Motorised and software controlled, the theta axis detector mount accommodates the CCD and allows the sample to detector distance to be quickly and easily adjusted to suit the experiment.
An open flow liquid nitrogen device, Cryojet™ (90-300K) and liquid helium, Helijet™ (<10-90K) are available to use for low temperature experiments.
