Summer Student Project: ISIS-16

We are looking for an Information or Librarian Studies student to help analyse the scientific output of a world leading research centre. Every year scientists using the ISIS neutron and muon source publish around 450 scientific papers across the full spectrum of scientific disciplines. Working with our central library team you will help us investigate how we can use both bibliometric and altmetric data to understand our research outputs, evaluate trends and measure our impact.

This post will provide a student interested in working academic libraries with hands on experience in analysing research data in an academic library environment with the support of the STFC library team.

Supervisors: Sara Fletcher ( / Debbie Franks (

You might particularly like this if you are interested in any of these: library studies, information, natural sciences.
