I am part of the Soft Matter Team, mainly responsible for the design and development of new equipment.
I graduated in physics from the University of Surrey, spending a gap year at CERN, and then went on to get a PhD from the Institute of Cryogenics at Southampton University. After working at A.S. Scientific for a number of years designing cryogenic equipment, I moved to ISIS in 2004.
