The ISIS Molecular Spectroscopy Group will hold its next science meeting at the Cosener’s House, Abingdon on the 29th and 30th of January 2015

This year’s meeting will focus on the following thematic areas:

  • Catalysis & Energy
  • Nanostructured Materials
  • Modelling & Simulation
  • Quantum Matter
  • Soft Matter & Biology

Confirmed invited speakers include:

  • Fernando Bresme, Imperial College
  • Joaquín Silvestre-Albero, Universidad de Alicante
  • Maths Karlsson, Chalmers University
  • Maria Paula Marques, Universidade de Coimbra
  • Christoph Salzmann, University College London
  • Roberto Senesi, Università di Roma – Tor Vergata

Keynote lectures will be followed by a number of oral presentations on a given thematic area. These slots are primarily intended for early-career researchers willing to present their work in the supportive atmosphere of our user group.

A poster session will also take place at the end of the first day. Anyone wishing to present his/her work is warmly invited to make a contribution. These are suited, but not limited, to undergraduate and early-stage doctoral students.

Those who wish to give an oral presentation or present a poster should submit the title on the registration website. The Organising Committee will draw up the final program based on all submissions received.
