The exhibition ‘ISIS: Super Microscope’ will raise awareness of ISIS and its research in the local community. It is also an opportunity to celebrate 25 years of world-leading science and the new possibilities with the ISIS second target station, one of the biggest UK science projects to be completed in recent years.

“This is an opportunity for us to share our enthusiasm for science with the local community and show that science is not all boring graphs and equations,” says Martyn Bull from ISIS, who has organised the exhibition.

“We can show that in science there is great beauty and that frequently scientists are thinking in a highly visual way to understand experiments.

“We are also showcasing the amazing photographs that STFC photographer Stephen Kill has created for us during the last six years documenting the construction of the ISIS second target station and science in action around the research centre.”
