We invite Malaysian and Indonesian researchers who would like to learn more about the use of neutron and muon techniques within their research to a Workshop which will be held at BRIN, Indonesia, 4-6 November 2025.
The Workshop will provide broad introductions to neutron and muon methods, examples of materials studies using neutron and muon techniques, a session on writing beamtime applications for the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, and a chance to hear the experiences of Indonesian and Malaysian researchers who have used ISIS for experiments.
The Workshop will be held alongside the International Seminar on Metallurgy and Materials (ISMM), also to be held at BRIN, 4-6 November 2025. The two events will have joint sessions as well as separate, parallel sessions, so that attendees can benefit from both meetings. There will be plenary talks for both meetings from Dr. Handoko (Chairman of BRIN) and Prof. Nuryadi (Head of Research Organisation for Nanotechnology and Materials, BRIN).
