​Several significant reports have identified the huge impact more women in business could have on the economy. 

In 2016, only 14% of applications for funding through Innovate UK were coming from women even though the quality of application was just as good as men. 

We needed to understand why this was happening before we could then define the campaign solution that would attract more women to apply help the UK economy grow faster. Through our insight we developed and implemented a behaviour change campaign to increase the number of women applying for innovation funding.
In this session we will share with you the recipe used for Innovate UK’s award winning ‘Women in Innovation’ campaign that led to a 70% increase in lead applications coming from women, a media reach of over 626m impressions spanning national and trade media, and 6000 views of our ‘Women in Innovation’ winners on Getty’s stock image library.
