This includes the current status and future prospects in relevant areas of scientific research, and the actions necessary for ISIS to make a relevant contribution to these areas. For example, investment in instrumentation, techniques and ancillary facilities, and prioritisation.
We are welcoming applications for members of the ISIS SAC, to start in the next twelve months. SAC meetings occur in person at ISIS twice a year in March and September, with travel and subsistence expenses reimbursed.
We aim for a diverse membership of the SAC and encourage applications from underrepresented groups, and those working across the full breadth of ISIS science areas, whether as ISIS users or those working in fields relevant to ISIS research. Some positions are reserved for early career researchers, and so we particularly encourage applications from this community.
Applications should be submitted via this form by the end of February 2026.
If you have any questions and would like to discuss a prospective application informally, please contact Russell Ewings, Vicky Garcia Sakai or Sean Langridge.
