At ISIS we have a number of quartz containers that can be used for neutron scattering experiments involving either gases or a vacuum. These cells come in two forms, either they are sealed with the sample subjected to a constant pressurised gas environment, or the cell takes the form of a quartz tube allowing gas to be flowed through the sample.
