​The Oxford School on Neutron Scattering runs every two years. It takes around 60 students for 12 days, and aims to provide an in-depth grounding to theory , techniques, applications, facilities (pulsed and steady) and beamtime proposal.

​It consists solely of lectures and problem classes (no use of neutron instruments during this course. The Oxford School on Neutron Scattering is largely sponsored by ISIS but takes students from all over the world, i.e. not just ISIS users.
