GeneQuant 1300
The GeneQuant 1300 is designed for measuring concentration and purity of DNA, nucleic acid and protein samples, and optical density of bacterial cell cultures at a broad range of sample volumes. This instrument is available in the TS2 (R80) biolab and the TS1 (R55) large chemistry laboratory. Options include:
- Predefined methods for nucleic acid purification, protein assays, CyDye and cell culture density. Oligo primers can also be characterised
- The instrument can correct for differences in cell path lengths and dilution factors
- Wavelengths of 190 – 1100 nm with 5 nm spectral bandwidth
- OD600 function for bacterial growth
- Single and multiple wavelength scans
