This equipment has been designed primarily to allow beam line instruments to use the NIM signals from the period cards; however it can also act as an interface between diverse equipment. It can accept and send analogue, TTL, optical and serial RS232 data. Additionally it has NIM inputs, a relay drive and a 4 – 20ma output.
A separate analogue interface box is available for this device which allows it to accept a much wider range of analogue signals as well as a 4 – 20ma signal.
