ISIS and the University of Rome Tor Vergata have signed a new agreement to continue their partnership in neutron and muon science. The University of Rome Tor Vergata was one of ISIS’s earliest collaborators, with the first partnership agreement being signed in 1984 – almost 40 years ago.
The partnership between ISIS and Rome Tor Vergata has been enduring and productive.
Roger Eccleston, ISIS Director
Roger Eccleston, ISIS Director, said, “The partnership between ISIS and Rome Tor Vergata has been enduring and productive. It’s very welcome that we’re marking this by continuing our collaboration with a new agreement. We look forward to many more years of excellent science and technology development.”
Carla Andreani, Professor of applied physics at Rome Tor Vergata, commented, “We are very proud of our relationship with the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source. Not only does it enable science and technology developments, but also the training of the next generation of scientists and technicians through their time at the facility.”
