Paul has an MA and DPhil in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and is Adjunct Professor at Uppsala University Department of Chemistry. He has a keen interest in energy materials and general solid-state chemistry, and is experienced in sample environment development, commissioning and integration. Paul is an expert in neutron beamline design and operation, with 30 years’ experience working at major European neutron facilities, including ISIS, ILL, HZB and ESS.
