Tom joined ISIS in 2015 as an instrument scientist on NIMROD. His research interests centre on structural studies of aromatic liquids and solutions, from applied systems such as crude oil asphaltenes to fundamental studies of simple aromatics such as benzene and toluene. He has expertise in analysis of small-angle neutron scattering data and using molecular dynamics simulations to study aggregating systems.
