    We are experiencing an issue with one of the TS1 RGA's and we are in
    contact with the on-call equipment expert regarding this.

    The Linac modulator is back on but we are having issues controlling the
    tank phase. Beam is expected to be intermittent whilst experts investigate
    the cause of this.

    BEAM OFF - Equipment experts are working on a fault with one of the Linac
    modulators. The issue is expected to be fixed shortly.

    The Ion Source has been fitted and is running. Machine Physicists are in
    attendance setting up the Injector. Update at 17:30

    The outcome of the investigation is that the ion source will need to be
    replaced. This is expected to take approximately 3 hours.

    We are currently experiencing an issue with the ion source. An expert is

    We are suffering with high injection losses. Machine specialists are

    We are waiting for an update from our equipment specialist about the comms
    issues with Target Station 1 RGA. Both RGA's are currently holding us off
    with machine interlocks. Beam will continue running to TS2 whilst
    investigations continue. Update at 08:30 Hours.

    There is an issue with one of the Target 1 systems. Expert on route to
    investigate. Beam has been switched to Target 2 only running for now.

    Equipment experts are investigating the cause of this. We are hoping this

    We have a problem with the Extract Septum magnet continually tripping on
    over temperature. We have consulted with experts and they are on route to
    assist with repairs. Next update 18:00hrs.

    We have resolved the waterflow issue. We now have an issue with one of the
    kicker power supplies. Update at 05:30.

    We are currently experiencing a water flow issue on the extract septum
    magnet circuit. Investigations are underway. Update at 04:00 hrs

    Unfortunately we had a problem with the charge change on Target 2, which
    held ISIS off with machine interlocks. Beam was re-established to Target 1
    whilst repairs were made. The fault has now been rectified, and we will be
    converting back to beam to both Targets momentarily.

    We are now investigating a problem with Target 2 interlocks. Update at

    Our Physicists are still working on the machine setup issues. Update at

    We are still having set up problems. One of our Machine Physicists is
    working on injector setup. Update at 06:00 Hours.

    All equipment is operational. We are having a few issues with machine
    setup. Update at 05:30 Hours.

    The Ion source is running. We are in the process of locking up and running
    up the Injector. Once we confirm the Ion source output is good we will do
    some machine setup before restoring beam. Update at 04:30 Hours.

    The Ion source has been removed and there was a partial blockage which has
    been cleaned. We now have an issue with vacuum and are waiting for a
    specialist to arrive. Once this is resolved the Source can be refitted and
    run up. Update when we have more information.

    We have a problem with the Ion Source which appears to have a partial
    blockage. An equipment specialist is coming in to assist with removal and
    cleaning (or replacement). This normally takes around 3 Hours. Update at
    04:00 Hours.

    Beam off for the start of maintenance day.

    Beam back on @23:00 slightly lower than before Ion Source issue. Tuning
    will continue.

    Setup is progressing slowly. Having slight diags issue while setting up.

    Ion source is now up and running well. Currently working on the setup of
    the machine.

    The equipment expert found a small blockage in the ion source and decided
    it was best to replace it for a new one. The replacement ion source is now
    being run up. Once this is done machine set up operations can begin.

    The equipment expert has fixed the issue with the ion source hydrogen flow
    and the ion source was run up again. However, the output was too low. The
    equipment expert is now removing the ion source to inspect it for a
    blockage. If one is found they will attempt to remove the blockage and run
    the ion source up again. If no blockage is found the ion source will be
    replaced.

    The issues with the ion source are ongoing. Equipment experts are on site
    and investigating the cause of the hydrogen failure.

    We are experiencing an issue with the ion source hydrogen flow and we are
    in contact with equipment experts.

    The LEBT beamstop bellows have been replaced, the ion source has been
    re-inserted and we are currently in the process of running it up. Once
    this is done we will need to perform beam set up operations.

    Vacuum experts have confirmed that the LEBT beam stop bellows has failed.
    Mechanical experts are on site and will now perform a bellows replacement.
    To do this the ion source will need to be removed and then replaced once
    the work is completed.

    We are experiencing an issue with the LEBT beam stop vacuum. An expert is
    on route to site to investigate further.
