Anna Marsicano

Anna is a researcher with experience in materials characterisation at large-scale facilities. Her doctoral studies at the University of Montpellier (France) focused on functional materials. She has contributed to the growth of single crystals and the study of their structure, bulk properties, and oxygen diffusion using neutron diffraction methods at the HFIR reactor at ORNL. Her postgraduate research focused on materials for catalytic and electrocatalytic applications in hydrogen production and conversion, involving extended collaborations with both public institutions and private companies. She has also investigated metal centres in porous frameworks for catalytic applications using X-ray absorption and emission spectroscopy.
