Tristan joined ISIS in 2012 as instrument scientist for NIMROD. His principal research interests focus on confined molecular and ionic liquids, the application of neutron scattering to heterogeneous catalysis (for which he is in industrial liaison for the group), and the development of computational tools to assist in the analysis and modelling of data.
