Hydrogen Panel

There are some unique challenges that must be solved when trying to deal with hydrogen under high pressure including ignition and hydrogen embrittlement. We have the gas pannels at Ral designed to deal with hydrogen as well as other very similar panels which where designed for dealing with helium.

If you have any questions about this equipment or you think you may want to use one on your experiment contact the Pressure and Furnaces team, or the respective instrument scientist.
