Hydrogels offer a new way to deliver cancer therapy

Researchers are exploring new delivery methods of chemotherapy drugs, where they are directly applied to the skin using hydrogels. Breast cancer treatment methods such as chemotherapy, hormone therapy and radiation therapy can cause adverse side effects and may not be well tolerated by patients.
